Comprative adjectives

In the Persian language like the other laguages we have comparative adjectives. Notice the examples:

Sara is more beautiful than Fatemeh.

سارا از فاطمه زیبا تر است./sara az fatemeh ziba tar ast

I have more books than Ali.

من کتاب های بیشتری از علی دارم./man ketab haye bishtri az Ali daram.

As you see in the Persian language we havn't  more and most, We just add 2 letters after the noun. Just this. I will explain yu the superlative adjectives in the next lesson. Now just practice the compratives. Now notice the below examples.

Maryam is taller than Shima.

مریم از شیما بلند تر است./Maryam az Shima boland tar ast.

My mother is younger than my Grandmother.

مادر من از مادربزرگم جوان تر است../madare man az madarbozorgam javan tar ast

My father is older than me.

پدر من از من بزرگ تر است(سن بیشتری دارد)/pedare man az man bozorgtar ast(senne bishtari darad)
